Praise for Volume 1 of Dermographies

"This is a book which makes one think well beyond the clinic, research and journals and makes us examine the very basis and meaning as to why we are doctors in general and dermatologists in particular. It distils hundreds of years of cumulative experience in dermatology by those who have had the greatest success in their professional careers….This book will challenge you to use your heart and mind as you consider topics and areas of central importance to humane care giving and self-care designed to refocus us on achieving the truepotential of the enjoyment and satisfaction our vocation can offer."
David J Eedy, MD FRCP, British Journal of Dermatology, v153, pp865-6, Oct. 2005.

"It also provides fascinating insight into the personalities of some persons we all know but of whom we have never asked these questions. It has archival value for the field of dermatology. It may be used by current leaders in dermatology to identify areas of concern facing dermatologists. It is, like a book of quotable quotes, fun in-flight reading too... this book provides an intimate look into the lives of some dermatologists. Among the interviewees, some are more guarded, some crisp and efficient; others are self-deprecating, revealing, or even sad."
Murad Alam, MD, Archives of Dermatology, v141, p 1612, Dec. 2005.
