N. Perley Goodwin spent twenty-six years teaching the Driver Education Program to students at Shelburne Regional High School. This book contains a few, very few, of his memories of instructing students in the classroom and then getting behind the wheel and getting the actual ‘feel’ of the road. He shares some of his experiences as an instructor, gives a little history of the program and the changes that occurred throughout the years (good and bad). Perley also shares some of the exciting, scary but never-boring experiences during those twenty-six years of sitting in the right hand seat with his foot ready to hit that ever trusty dual brake.
