I was born in a little village near Lockeport, West Head, Shelburne County, Canada, to Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Roache. My father was a fisherman and a farmer. I took up the same trade at a very young age, went to school at a country school. I didn't like school so you can see, I had fishing on my mind, which I did very well and lived to see many changes. I have said many times, there is plenty of good things to do if we look the right way. Canada is a wonderful country. I am proud to be a Canadian and to have lived so many years in Nova Scotia, Canada. Eugene R. Roache
